Friday, November 12, continued...

What a great day we've had. Our flight was smooth and arrived at least forty minutes early. Took a cab and got to the Sheraton Waikiki about 1:30pm. In our room and unpacked by 2. Checked out the hotel a bit, made reservations for cabanas by the Infinity pool, had onion rings at the poolside bar, and waited for Barb and Dick to arrive. When they did, about 4:30, we simply stayed at the poolside bar and enjoyed happy hour and nachos and fries and chicken wings and pizza. We were all hungry! We were privileged to witness a magnificent sunset framing at least a hundred sailboats. What an incredible scene! Exhausted and full, ended up in our room a little while ago. My guess is that sleep will find us all willing partners...
