We were down at the pool today by eight thirty and stayed there all day. We were pretty careful to use a lot of sunscreen so we fared pretty well. The hotel provides floating devices like bean bag chairs for the pool. They are filled with tiny styrofoam balls. I spent at least three hours sitting in one, learning how to drink a beer and not spill a drop or fall into the water. Tonight we ate dinner at Roy's. This is a restaurant we found years ago on Maui and eat at one whenever we can. The food is usually spectacular and tonight was no exception. After eating we spent a couple of hours just walking the main drag here in Waikiki, visiting the International Market where Barb bought a quilt, and then back to the room. We stopped at an ABC store to buy some bottled water and cigarettes were for sale at $10.15 per pack. I am really glad I quit! Nothing tomorrow except to sit by the pool again all day. We were happy we got the cabanas as they were very comfortable and we have them for the next several days. Hope to see turtles tomorrow. I'll let you know if we do.
